    This company is well known as the European Environmental Award Winner of the year 2000

    for sustainable technologies.

     * Grimsby, Great Britain - Production volume: about 40.000 tons of Tencel fibers.

     * Mobile, United states - Production volume: about 40.000 tons of Tencel fibers.

> Hanil Synthetic fiber Co, Ltd produces Lyocell fibers under the brand of Hanil Lyocell ® . This company states that it is producing commercial quantities since October 2001.

> Beside these key producers some trial productions are installed in Germany (TITK), in India (Birla) and in China. Zimmer announced a 30.000 to plant for China in September 2002 which was never built, but they are promoting a fiber called SeaCell®.
